CSR Roadmap on Sanitation
Symbiosis School of Economics was the venue host for the workshop organized by Idobro and Habitat for Humanity -“CSR Roadmap on Sanitation” on the 30th of June, 2015.
The objective of the day-long programme was to create linkages with NGO’s and corporates and display a unique solidarity to a common social cause and to address the issue of sanitation as a part of Swacchh Bharat campaign.
The CSR managers of several Pune corporates came together The CSR managers of Tata Motors, Thermax Ltd, Sandvik Asia, Alfa Laval, Persistent Systems, Avantha, Kolte Patil Developers, Godrej & Boyce and NABARD were among several representatives who met at the call of Habitat for Humanity at the Symbiosis School of Economics, Pune.
SSE was happy to create the linkages with Ms. Karon Shaiva, Chief Impact Officer, Idobro Impact Solutions, Mr. Rajan Samuel, Managing Director -Habitat for Humanity India, Mr. Jan Campbell, Consul and Deputy Head of Mission, Consulate General of Sweden, – Mr. Sanjay Daswani, Sr.Director–Resource Development & Comms, HFH India and Mr Naresh Karmalkar- Business Manager, Habitat for Humanity India and Ms Anagha Anasingaraju- Company Secretary, Idobro.
The afternoon session dedicated for the students of SSE, had the speakers give an insight about how they should focus on multiplying their impact:
It provided the students an opportunity to think about voluntary participation in the areas of Housing and Sanitation embedded with the principles of sustainability.
